AYSO Region 92 is seeking volunteers to fill the following leadership positions for 2023-2024, beginning in March 2023.

Open Positions:
Assistant Coach Administrator: Assists the regional coach administrator in executing a quality coaching program within the region. Provides support to regional coach admin as needed. May communicate extensively with volunteer coaches across all divisions.
Assistant Referee Administrator: Working with the Regional Referee Administrator and regional referees, this position assists with recruiting and retaining referees, scheduling referees for games and tournaments (along with the Referee Scheduler), and compiling and reporting information on referee participation for the Referee Points Program and any other referee-incentives programs. The ideal candidate for this position is a Certified Referee with an Intermediate badge or higher, who is able to provide mentorship, guidance, and support to referees.
Communications Administrator: Drafts and sends communication to parents and volunteers within the region on topics ranging from general information to safety protocols to registration deadlines to volunteer requirements. Works both independently and with input from board members. Fields parent questions. Posts updates and news to the region’s Facebook page.
Field Coordinator: Responsible for overseeing all regional playing fields, including arranging for AYSO equipment set-up and tear-down before and after games. Maintains equipment storage facilities. Communicates with coaches and board members about fields as necessary.
Player Uniform/Medals Coordinator: Orders, purchases, and coordinates distribution of team uniforms and player medals. Communicates with local vendors to order and arrange for customization of medals/trophies. Coordinates with board members and coaches to arrange for distribution of items.
Referee Scheduler: Working with the Regional Referee Administrator (or Assistant Referee Administrator), the Referee Scheduler assists with the scheduling of referees for the Fall and Spring programs, as well as during regional and area playoffs. Candidates for this position are not required to be Certified Referees but must be able to learn and understand the intricacies of scheduling AYSO games and the use of the Referee Scheduling System (currently CGI Sports).
Referee Uniform/Equipment Coordinator: Working with the Regional Referee Administrator (or Assistant Referee Administrator), this role assists with purchasing, maintaining inventory, and distributing uniforms and supplies for the Region’s referees. Candidates need not be certified referees but must be detail-oriented, good at record-keeping, and able to work in a flexible manner with both the Referee Staff and Referee Volunteers.
Regional Commissioner: Manages and directs the day-to-day business of the region, which includes (but is not limited to) upholding the AYSO mission, appointing regional board members, maintaining fiscal and other records for the region, leading monthly board meetings, liaising with Area Director and Section Director, working with City officials as needed, communicating with division commissioners and coaches, resolving conflicts, and making decisions for the region.
Statistics: Compiles stats from all matches across the region each season. Will learn the region’s stat-keeping software and utilize it for record-keeping.
Treasurer: Keeps and safeguards all of the region’s monies and documents of value. Deposits funds, withdraws funds, and writes checks as needed. Maintains bookkeeping documents for the region’s income and expenses. Reports the region’s financial transactions to the board.
